Central School of English has moved to a new location, in the heart of the city close to the banks of the river Thames. Central School of English can now be found at:
12 Buckingham street is a 17th Century, Grade I listed building, and the interior has been transformed into a modern, purpose-designed learning space, complete with bright, airy classrooms, breakout areas for group and individual work and comfortable common areas for socialising after classes with fellow students and teachers.
12 Buckingham Street is also just a short walk from Charing Cross and Embankment Underground stations, granting students access to four Tube lines and conveniently connecting them to the rest of the city. The new school is also easily accessible from London’s major airports and train stations via trains, taxis and buses.
Just a short walk from the school students can find the Strand, a bustling street in London’s fashionable West End district, bursting with shops, cafes, restaurants and theatres. 12 Buckingham Street is also in close proximity to many of London’s top attractions, such as the National Gallery, Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament, alongside areas such as Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square.
By being in the heart of London, students at Central School of English are able to interact with a diverse mix of people, constantly using their English in authentic situations to network and explore. Central School of English also offers a Cultural Programme which provides two activities per week, such as walking tours and visits to museums and galleries, deepening their knowledge of the local area and the history and culture of the city.
Central School of English provides a wide choice of accommodation options for students, offering homestays, residences and hotel options throughout the city.
